Your insight captures a significant challenge in addressing economic racism. Holding our representatives accountable is crucial, and the question of emulation is indeed complex. True leadership should emanate from a moral foundation, emphasizing values that prioritize equality and justice. As citizens, we must actively demand ethical conduct from our leaders and work towards creating a culture that values integrity over unchecked pursuit of power and wealth. We must let them know that as much as they pretend to be "good", their behavior is not "good" and it exposes their inhumanity. If they want to be "good" so-called God-fearing, they must be humane to all people. Fostering a collective understanding becomes more effective when guided by shared moral principles, creating a foundation for sustainable change.
