Well said! I love your article, especially number 5. I too was steeped in the religion—youth fellowship leader, choir, men’s fellowship, evangelizing, treasurer, readings, etc. I left when I saw the internal politics treating its own people worse than dirt. Further studies into its history, and seeing the atrocious behavior of Christians, including my family, made me run as far from the religion as possible. It freed up so much mental and emotional space and brought me peace and improved how I interact with others.
