I asked a family member steeped in hours per day of MSNBC news, “What if Donald Trump went to jail? How do we make that work?” He got mad at me, and I wrote an article about the need to ease off when there is trauma. He is a proud Jamaican man who came to America to make it but was slapped many times by racism.
The mere mention of former President Donald Trump potentially facing jail time is a topic that he dreams of. It’s a topic that has polarized the nation and, sadly, my extended family. To my family, it’s a long-awaited reckoning for his alleged trespasses; others see it as a political witch hunt (which is fine if the hat fits). My wife and I were speculating on the logistics of this occurrence. I thought it would be fun to explore the logistics of what would happen if Trump were to find himself behind bars and how his disciples (since he is their “Jesus”) might react to such a scenario.
