Thanks for reading and your comment. I blame the Roman Catholics (the then Pope, in particular) for their silly "doctrine of discovery" and the greedy Europeans for all trying to live like their royalties. I always wonder what would have happened if Africa had its version of doctrine for discovery. Below is a link to an interesting article about calls for the present Pope to finally revoke the decree (which is still active today in many a "white" mind). I don't think it would make a huge difference in my lifetime, but it would also undermine Christianity, which I doubt any Pope want to be associated with since it's not in their interest.
