Thanks for brilliant piece as usual.
The simple answer is yes. Equal opportunity is a thing of the past. Frankly, it was never a thing in America despite civil rights acts, DEI and the like. White people automatically went against any version of life that approached equity for people they consider non-white. It’s just that under Trump, it’s likely to get so bad, the ignorance that of whiteness that believes they can hold this fragile country together without anyone else, that we will see even suffering as the country’s system crumbles under old WASP men.

We have seen these radical ideologies, thwarted to point their own faults at others, before in history and the destruction they cause. Hopefully, America may rise from the ashes of the Trump fires, as Germany did after Hitler! Of course, we will be there as usual to clean up the mess after them.
