As usual, at least one “whiteness” police will comment defensively. Their language is predictable. Spring some random fake numbers as stats, a ghostly study and a rant of whataboutism and they believe they have a concrete defense nullifying any truth they heard but prefer not to believe because the world as you described it benefits them. Protecting it at all costs even when it’s an article on Medium, becomes their raison d’etre. The thing is, leaving it alone would not even dent white privilege. But the fear of alerting the world that the whiteness norm is not a real norm, frightens the hell out of a white supremacy believers.
