I guess because of all the trauma of whiteness, we all have some prejudices. I get nervous when I see a white man in big pants or a big jacket, or a bulge on their lower back, or if they look at me or any one else for too long, or if they follow me in their car, or if they hang around doorways where there are a lot of people inside. I intentionally sit in establishments always where I can see the door in case a white man enters so I could watch him. I think everyone knows why! So, a white man in a hoodie, I am watching him too.
